These shoes are very cute. The background color is more of a silver than appears in the picture and has a satiny finish. These were for my 10 year old daughter; she loves them and says they are very comfortable. She's not had them long yet, but has already worn them in the rain a couple times and they seem to be holding up well after getting damp
